I know what was written. I had to point you towards it twice before you clicked, remember.

You're asking me to prove something that I haven't said. While you're suggesting that the helmet manufacturer is making these comments.
Sorry, on the mobile and hadn't finished editing.
Read the rest of the thread. Schumacher hit a rock and was catapulted into another. His helmet broke into at least two pieces on impact. The camera remained intact.
You pointed out that the camera itself was intact, yet have still to provide any proof that it came into contact no matter how many rocks the helmet itself hit, his left shoe was also probably intact!
If you had bothered to read the thread you'll see that those comments were made by ENSA.
As above the statement was NOT made by ENSA, but "a source close to the investigation" and refers to an incomplete and unreported, as yet inconclusive investigation

When you have corrected these errors, and provided any evidence that the camera mount came into contact, or that ENSA have actually made a statement, could you then please provide the statement where I have suggested that the helmet manufacturer has made these statements
1. I never made the claim you're asking me to prove about the camera. It doesn't help anyone if you keep making the same mistake.

2. Have a look around t'internet and find out what ENSA said. It will only take you a couple of minutes.

To summarise, you're asking me to prove two things I haven't claimed. Bonkers.
Lets leave it at that then...

There is no evidence that the camera or mount were at any time in contact

ENSA have not completed their investigation or made any statement

There is still no conclusive evidence either way

It is estimated that Michael Schmakers Care is £100,000 Per week and I am sure they would like to recoup that from somewhere.

There is bound to be some litigation on the way. GoPro must have sold thousands of helmet mounts and yet this is the first time I have heard about them being blamed for an injury. I think his manner of skiing will be brought into question. But when you see the GoPro ads it looks like you can do anything wearing one and presumably be safe.

I wouldnt like to be a boss at GoPro just now.

I hope all the head cam Wannabee policemen are watching this.

It does also raise the question of how dangerous a carbon fibre skeleton within the helmet is....

Is it that the GoPro causes brain damage when mounted on a helmet or you have to have brain damage to ride about with one on?

Incidentally the guy that founded the company in the US was talking on the BBC the other day. He started by making them in his dad's garage. Now the company has been floated it's valued at $10 billion!

Probably better off sticking a load of gopro's to your head than a helmet. Could get expensive though.
You'd need to come up with a catchy name too, something like, I dunno....Traffic Droid?

I'm trying to imagine the kind of equipment his dad must have in his garage to enable you to make a miniature digital camera, and toughened case.

Now, If I went into my garage I'd be a bit stuck, there being only some bike tools, a drill, a sander, a lawnmower and some gummed-up paint rollers. And a sledgehammer.

Or is that now $8.4 billion after these rumours caused the stock price to plummet?
Of course it's only a paper valuation, but still an impressive figure. Based not so much on what it's actually worth but on its potential. You can imagine someone like Microsoft or Google will come along and snap them up, which is probably what will happen.

I see far more people with their sunglasses slotted into their helmets than cameras. That seems much more dangerous than a camera outside the shell.
