Well after the other morning I had some knob head driver beeping away at me and revving his engine. I was slowing down for a set of lights. He didn't even want the lane I was in and continued to beep away while passing once the light went green.

So it made me think I'll have a look into action cams, The GoPro is a obvious choice but I am not prepared to spend the money on it unless the camera I got is used everyday. I may just get bored and not arsed about it.

So this is what I got:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B011TT8SHC?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00

First impressions for this is brill, loads of mounting bits and a spare battery (no mem card though). The quick little video I took before charging it seemed spot on . Cant wait to try it out on the road. May even get me another for recording whats behind me , unsure yet.

Amazed how many GoPro copycats are out there. I am lucky enough to have a GoPro Hero + and I love it. Battery life awesome, video quality amazing, overall quality - bulletproof. I think it cost about £300 (was a gift). Be interested to see how you get on.

thanks

Yeh i was pretty amazed at the price . I would spend the same on a video game, so figured id try this instead of a game this month. If I get on with it I will look into getting a GoPro.

Well I went out for a ride tonight , Got back and had a quick mess around with the video and uploaded to youtube. The raw footage is in 720p and looks perfect just need to look into getting the same across to youtube.

Lots of floor shots and wavy head moments . use to bobbing to music lol. seemed sound though.

Quality looks good, Surprised how sharp it is . Have to change that head though - too much bobbing.

Yeh the positioning was pants, had no real idea how it was gonna turn out , just wanted to see how it performed. (new toy excitement and all).

That looks 100% good to me.

Since I uploaded ,slept and woke up it has gone on as 720p which is great. The camera does do 1080p too at 30fps, 720p at 60fps.(which is what its on).

How long is the battery life and does it come with an editing programme?

Says hour and a half per battery . comes with 2, I got home it said it had half left (was more like 60 mins use time), no editing program. I just used Windows Movie Maker (all i had). Does have a little charging unit though so i could use a power bank and charge one as other is used even out on the move.
