Nice, I look forward to this later. I just got done watching the Janapar film, but I didn't think it was all that great. Hoping to find a movie that inspires me a bit. Still worried about going solo, even if I am only in my own country :P

Amazing. A while ago I was following the blog of a guy called Iohan going up the Dempster highway, then after seeing this I thought hang on, this guy is called Iohan too, but he is going down the Dempster. So they are the same person and are going all the way down the Americas now. Fantastic, and he's got really good media skills.

Towards the end of the Part 1, the ''We're all the same song''. Is by a guy called Kevin Downey, who is actually also cycling around the world at the minute, & has been since 2012 I think. He's in or around Argentina last time I checked. You can check out his site, & keep track of him via his Facebook

Kevin's songs are all about him cycling & meeting people, he's pretty good.

I know Iohan, met him last year as he cycled from Ontario to Halifax, Nova Scotia, in the winter!

That's one of the best clips I've seen this year, what a glorious nutter. You get the impression Iohan is a thoroughly nice bloke, and he shows the best of other people too:
