Most of their bikes are manufactured and constructed in the Far East. They are from foundries and engineering works that emit more toxics than car factories in Europe.
The power for the bike factories is generated at Coal fired stations which do not have particulate filtering.
The emissions of the shipping methods to get those bikes to Europe are probably the worst of any surface transportation, ie Diesel ships.
If they REALLY cared for the environment, they would have got there on locally made reed and hessian sandals![]()
