I only went and slipped down a wet wooden decking step on Wednesday. As soon as I hit the deck(excuse the pun) I knew it was duffed! I managed to crawl back in the house and phone for an ambulance. It took 90 minutes to arrive. It was the worst pain I've ever had. Not so much the break more when they got me into the ambulance.

Yes,I'll be glad when the years out. I was thinking about going back to work soon. I now have 4 pins and 2 screws holding my leg together. They're discharging me tomorrow. Probably to a "half way house" as they don't think I'll be safe at home.
