just under 6" of the stuff here in the Scottish Borders,

For anyone that doesn't like the white stuff, don't worry, I have just made myself a snow plough today and am eager to use it, so it is highly unlikely it will ever snow again :-(

First Snow for me this winter last night. Awoke to see the hill-tops really well covered with the white stuff.










(I woke this morning in Switzerland).

Derby remains snow-free - it appears that it has gone round us. This may have something to do with the level of council tax in the area.

Lump of wood stuck on front of stack truck

. Seems to of worked though, last nights deluge in northumberland missed us by about 10 miles,

so haven't any use for my new toy this morning.

Eeeee........MDF.....you cant beat a bit of that.

Made 2 x snow shovels with some mdf attached to old broom handles. Cleared the road in a jiffy, and even ended up at our Primary School to help clear the playground last year.

Got them back though !!!!

Very light snow falling ... none settling.... my son won't know whether to be upset at how little is falling or delighted at the prospect of POSSIBLY more falling.
