I wanted to get a picture of myself at the pointy end of the arrow, but the chances of being run over seemed a little too hit.

Hmm, I thought it'd be warmer than 12 degrees

Yes, there's a lot of variety in the US California, but I think LA edges it ;)

There's a dirty duck pub in Barrow in Furness, now closed. There are quite a few dirty duck pubs around though. Loads of dirty ducks in England.

Okay, so the name of the village "Linkinhorne" isn't funny as such. But a local wit used a marker to add a B at the start a y at the end of some of the signs to it.

Flagg, Peak District, where this lane lead to our campsite last weekend..
I did wonder what to expect, but it was fine 😉

On this one yesterday. From the looks of the house prices, you'd need a few bob to live there.

Is that the one at Eynsford?

I believe the origins of the name came from the existance of a toll road that ran through Eynsford. Sparepenny Lane runs parallel to the main road, but was a bit further and didn't have a toll. So travellers could spare a penny by avoiding the toll road and taking this Lane.
