Yeah, I got that bit. I just wondered if you get a qualification just for turning up or is there more to it?

My teacher (Donald at Cycleform in Hardgate, Clydebank) was demanding, he gave us tests and told us we would not pass if we didn't do it right.
There must be a standard, I guess.

There will be Pat and was what I was getting at. Assessment is a fair chunk of the VQ at any level.

I can actually prove my already years gained skills have meaning with a piece of paper

I often see people who are being made redundant & offered outplacement training up to a certain budget.

Mostly they just shrug & never take it up. I will have to see what it might cover in future cases.
