I am resolved to be extra patriotic this morning and wish a 'Happy St Georges day' to everyone I meet...

As I'm currently in Germany this should make the day more interesting...

I saw a man in a kilt carrying bagpipes out of my window this morning. That's not very St George, is it?

[edit: he wasn't carrying them out of my window. That would be silly]

London comes into bloom - these two on my way back from Regents Park early this morning. Also, as the bus motored past a school, a lot of the little ones were in St George dress - a flag, silvery hat, shield and enormour cardboard swords!

I saw a Richmond's sausage van outside the window with St. George flags on the window this morning, I thought some sporting event had started.;)
I'm visiting friends England by the way, I don't see anything outside the windows in France, except vines.

I would have thought it would have been theft but hey-ho.

Now when can we get this St. Georges Day malarky made into a public holiday? I could use a day off after my birthday.
