For the less active rider in their golden years.
Lovely bikes the old Guzzi'sNever cared much for the Harleys, they lack subtlety and nuance that about any BMW can give. Gold Wings are neat if you want a reliable bike with few issues and great engineering and little/no soul. I kind of like the old Moto-Guzzi. The fact is that some people want one thing from a motor bike, others want something else, and the difference is what makes the bike right for you.
Nothing comes close looks wise, and the sound they make is awesome. When I rule the world I'll pass a law that every machine has to sound like a Guzzi - even your watch.
I've heard it said that Ducatis are 'God's own motorbike', but if I were the Lord, I'd certainly give that a second look...
The shock had the advantage of being free, on account of it was lurking in my Box O' Sh**e since I fitted an Ohlins job to my 'busa in 2002. Free being my favourite price. Took a bit of machining/threatening/hitting with a hammer to make it fit, but it's on.trust me @Drago that shock is shyte..i threw mine in the bin and fitted a real one to my Busa
mind you most shocks on mass production bikes are poor quality...
is that a old Yam ?
I know, fantastic ain't it.I saw a mint one of these in town yesterday. Bloody racket.
Probably something to do with their Aermacchi links, highlight being the 350 single,Harley-Davidson used to have it sussed but then they lost the plot. This was a highlight..

Apparently the pipe cleaner frame was no match for the power the engine produced and the bike was notorious for weaving dangerously once you got much above the 70 limit.
Then if you're allowed a bike, look at Triumphs and many of the emerging Scrambler style models and decide if going to buy used or finance a new one.
