Lord Jesus shoot me now. He's one of the unfunniest people on TV. Predictable, dull and unimaginative.

There's no accounting for taste, eh?

Indeed there isn't Kirst. Each to their own and all that.

I saw this on Saturday and must say it's one of the funniest things I have seen on TV for years.
(simple things, simple minds and all that)

I agree with this one. I used to find him watchable but he has only a few gags, most involve heavy sarcasm and that, IMO, gets tired very quickly. However, I've watched enough Burps to think that...

It was the first comedy programme that my daughter found funny when she hit the right age to start 'getting' humour. It's the only ITV show apart from Harry's "You've Been Framed" that we watch; great family entertainment all round - and there's very little of that these days.

I have to admit though that I didn't much like him when he first appeared on TV in his own show years ago (with brother Alan and Stouffer the cat). Then again I used to hate Vic'n'Bob when they first appeared on telly, and now I love them too! My sense of humour has either matured or deteriorated, depending on your point of view!

(No offence to goo_mason but)... do people really (still?) make choices according to channel? I'll watch anything ITV or beeb as long as I like it... really don't care what channel it's on. I remember finding it really odd at school when people told me they "weren't allowed" to watch ITV.... the same people never went to pantomimes either... or liked Carry On films...hmm, I'm starting to see a link....

I just watched that Harry Burp bloke and the sketch was not funny. NOT FUNNY. NOT FUNNY.
Maybe I have lost my sense of humour, and I guess it is ok if he can make young children laugh.

Total rubbish - and tin can laughter too.

(Did I say it was not funny yet? Love you Ian :hello:)

I suppose the programme must be aimed towards the younger generation Martin :girl:

I agree with Ian
