I usually use one of a few words with a lot of consonants and only one or two vowels. 'Strong' often on Wordguessr 6-letter words; straw or stray often for wordle or Wordguessr 5-letter words.

Adieu is my go to. I might try lots of consonants and fewer vowels tomorrow.
My 6 letter multi vowel word was goalie.

Anybody fancy a go at Absurdle? It's an adversarial version of Wordle in which the game fights back in an attempt to prolong itself. I might have a crack at it later when everyone's in bed.
