Pretty simple just delete and repartion but make sure you choose the right hard drive otherwise you will repartion your operating system. Tbh you might as well get a usb hard drive it will be easier to connect etc. If your local I will come and do it.

That's the link for the free version for Windows which is what I use, as with any software recommendation, I can't be held responsible, but I have used this for years with no problems. You can always uninstall it afterwards, AFAIK there is no spyware/malware with this and you don't have to pay for anything (though it may suggest you upgrade).

Best of luck!

Apologies......I was on a Linux machine and would usually do this in person. It is my job to do this stuff and as such can only offer to sort it out for free. Pm me.

If it was brand new and unused then it shouldn't have had any partitions. Only external drives come pre formatted as an internal one could go into a number of different devices.
Someone I was talking too recently got tricked into downloading something by the name of "Shopping Sidekick" whilst installing Firefox. It turned his computer into a non stop advert - he reckons he was getting adverts popping up in the middle of excel - he had to get an expert to sort it out, cost him £50
I've been using Firefox for years and have never had any toolbars/programs installed with it. The installer never gave an option either so i would guess they downloaded a version from somewhere other than Mozilla site. It wouldnt be the first time installers have been changed in this way.
I bet it was added while installing another program. A lot of them add toolbars to browsers automatically unless you use the advanced set up feature.
