Had several visits to Turkey with work, and love the food and in particular, the regular cups of tea that get drunk during the day. Many fascinating conversations with fellow engineers, and some great work going on there with good QA controls and modern facilities.
Istanbul was not my favourite place as I seemed to spend many hours trying to get across the boshporous and out to beyond Izmit. However I did get one trip out which was to Pendik via Sabiha Gokcen International Airport, so didn't spend any time stuck in traffic queues.
