Hi there,

I have two bikes - each with the same Campagnolo hubs.

In the centre of each of the hubs is a
shield and the words Campagnolo around the
bottom inner rim of the shield.

Above the word is what looks like a pair of wings ?

Can anyone tell me which model of hub this is ? I'm guessing that it might be Campagnolo Chorus ?

That's just the Campag logo. It doesn't tell you much - other than that they're Campag hubs. Not very old ones 'cos they're not diablo shaped, not Record 'cos there's no lubrication port, not recent ones 'cos they're not cylindrical in shape or black. The age and the kind of QR's they came with may (or not) help identify them.

Look like my old Veloce ones. Reckon they are either Mirage or Veloce and year 2000 or earlier.

A lot earlier than, the bike dates from the early 80s - I'd imagine that the hubs date from then.

Just checked on a late 90's Mirage hub and the design is exactly the same except that the outer part of the hub housing the bearings extends for only 3/8" beyond the spoke flange - so it is an earlier model. The rear hubs may tell you more as the design changed to accommodate increased cassette sizes etc.
