Should this be in the mechanics forum?
As per title, got no more old tees, linen, towels, even used up the emergency holey socks to oil a chain.
I've been using 3 bikes, the commuter, the ice bike, the snow tractor.
They need cleaning almost after every ride or they seize.
What am I gonna do???
Hope the 4 bottles of GT85 will last me till spring ...

I've got loads in the garage. Come and get some.
I'll put the kettle on!

Do your neighbours use washing lines?
In Scotland in February? No!

Baby Wipes......or try and reel in that Obsessive Compulsive Behaviour, and let your bike get dirty.
Are baby wipes not bad for the environment? I would need a box every 2 days!
I don't mind the dirt as such, but had bike chains seize before in this weather.

Old knickers
Out of them too

Cheap quilt cover from primak and a pair of scissors, problem solved
Great idea!
Even cheaper from a charity shop.
Excellent idea, I'm on it, thanks!

I like Skol

A Minging Manc...
Never short of rags here due to two fast growing boisterous boys who get through clothes at an alarming rate! I can even be choosy about what I use and reject anything too fluffy or unabsorbent.

Old knickers
That's no way to talk about Pat..... I was just about to suggest raiding the smalls draw, there must be a couple of old grey items that haven't been worn for ages?
