I'll be interested to know if you figure this out, I've had an edge touring and now I've got an 810 and i can only import gpx files not tcx although I'm sure that it's supposed to recognise both

You can try to convert the tcx files to gpx using the website http://www.gpsies.com as Big Dave Laa has suggested, i have tried it and it does convert from gpx to tcx and vice versa.
