Hey Tal, Lovely pieces of music there. Reminds me i'm looking for some calm and 'laid back' songs for cycling and getting around. Rather than anything... fast paced or energetic. I play around with Music in my spare time, mostly in editing and mixing rather than actually making my own. Not coordinated enough for those things, Especially not for drums.

I love those instrumentals & Love the vocals in the 'times running out' one. Would be worth playing those well!!

Hi there Tangroup51,

Thank you so much for the kind words!

I will add some more here that are laid back for you. And some more from the Gertrude Zundies CD.

PS - Were you able to download them?

No problem Tal. I spent a good while looking through the albums that were attached to the links you listed, lost track how many i went through. A good bunch of songs. Won't bore with details but I did enjoy alot of them, some with really good vocals & instrumentals blending calmly and nicely.

That's nice of you & Yes I am able to download them. - Question though, do you have a Hand in making those songs? Do you do the instrumentals? or do you just upload them from a CD?

One thing I do, is lie on the ground when it's a clear night and stare at the stars for ages ..
At the same time it clears my mind and takes me away from everything it also bedazzles me with the enormity of space ..
I've done this since a very young age ..

Hi there. Yes, I played drums and percussion on them and helped with mixing the second one. The second one was completely written, performed and recorded by Karl and me. The project The Least of These total time was only 3 weeks!

Here are some more from The Least of These CD.

Dang it! Blocked by the work filter. I'll have to listen at home.

Thank you for trying anyway! I hope you get to listen at home!

I used to do that when I was a kid. Loved the stars and when in the 4th grade wrote a little book about each planet! LOL

Honestly all of them deserve applause, I listened to every one of them. - but I would say out of them two of them really caught my eye... well ear, - 'The question' has a very interesting intro, I'm a total sucker for instrumentals that make you think and feel what the song means, just from the sound alone - rather than a lyric, words, that tell you outright of a meaning, And the intro does have that same vibe, emotionally, those instrumentals are an odd-mix of Reflection, Confusion and Want. - Ironic seeing the song is called 'the question' - but to my ears sounds better with the 'ding' sound effect removed, I was heavily impressed with the base noise through 0:14 - 0:30 (and the rest of the song, but it stood out the most there.) and how you manage to capture those feelings so well.

It very much reminded me of another piece of heavily underrated instrumental that had, similar emotional vibes to your intro

- if you're interested.

And, "repent!" Honestly that was the best song for me, overall, it had such a Lovely instrumental track covering everything and the vocals blended so stupidly well with the track, I can't stress how much I adored the instrumentals in that one, but to stop boring you I won't stress the details -- but big props to you and Karl.

also, 3 weeks? for such diversity and variation that is impressive.

Thank You.

Wow! Thank you! I really appreciate your review! The Least of These was definitely a labor of love.

I listened to the one you posted. To my ears it had a very driving beat. And that is not a bad thing! It reminded me of Manheim Steamroller.

If you would like more of the Gertrude Zundies, please let me know.

I will go out on a limb and post a couple of cover songs I did. I played all of the instruments, sang vocals and did the recording and mixing. Mind you, my singing leaves somewhat to be desired, but it is what it is.

The second song was done by Chicago. The voices were recorded at the demonstration at the Democratic Convention in 1968.
