Do you mean Bearwood Hill Road? I don't know it, but Plotaroute says it's about 16%.

There is a segment for Bearwood Hill Road, but it only covers the steepest part of the climb, and that says it averages 9%: https://www.strava.com/segments/1401709

Looking at the rides of some of the people who have done that segment, if you take it from the very bottom up to the junction with Balmoral Road (where it starts reaching more or less the flat bit), it seems to work out to about a 6.5% average, reaching a maximum of 16% briefly.

Not the straightest line ever, on that segment... Wonder if the person setting it up was torque steering up that bit?

It's 82 feet elevation over 0.2 miles. My toughest hill climb is in Haslemere and is 108 feet elevation over the same distance, then a further 20 feet over the next 0.2 miles. So it's doable but hard work. Good gearing will help, as will not trying to go up it too quickly...

Live local but not cycled up it. Dont think its too hard.... theres worse ones local... but it is quite a busy road to be struggling up, lots of buses etc
