On the 9th July, I will be heading to Trondheim, Norway from Denmark to help with the start of the Transcontinental Race. It starts on the 19th July an hour before the world cup final starts.

i am hoping for a Norway v England final. Lets be unrealistic and opimistic. 😁

I have not been to Norway before and am looking forward to the scenery. I am going up on my Honda Super Cub 125cc and will be wild camping and Airbnb. A bit like bike packing. But easier. 😁

I could take the car or Royal Enfield. But the Cub adds an element of adventure.

I am apprehensive, but looking forward to it.

Having looked at the 2027 prices it’s far too much for two oldies.

Where are you wanting to go? Cruises aren't cheap but they are of course all inclusive (plus booze/tips though which varies by line) (the companies often have deals on flights etc, although not always the best prices!).
I went to Caribbean with Princess this year and back to the Caribbean with Holland America next year (7 different islands). No more expensive than a high starred all inclusive on one island and you get to see different places :okay:

Many of the passengers on those cruise lines are also oldies (early-mid 50s, we would be in the younger 50%)!

I would personally avoid P&O, Carnival, Disney, Norwegian (NCL), Marella - all too family friendly.
MSC are meant to be good as well, and Celebrity and Virgin (adult only) but probably younger, trendier.
There's a great blog site called Cruise Mummy
