But we just booked a 4 day break in Seville next month which was pretty cheap.
Yeah, make sure you check the airport if you go to Seville. I assumed Seville airport but we were in and out of Jerez, which was a PITA. Didn't ruin the trip, which was ace, but ...

I was going to go to Senegal in November...7 nights 4/5* all inclusive, guaranteed sunshine and 30 deg temps for about £1200pp (through TUI) and only around 6 hour flight from London.
Sadly unable to go now

Would Senegal be one of these places where you are "confined to barracks" or can you go out and about? People tell me they have been here and there but can't leave the complex, I can think of nothing worse.

Not from what a friend told me (they were there during AFCON when it all kicked off in the final, got the impression they were out with locals), plenty of excursions too

My first 'real' trip into Scotland in Van Diesel at the end of August. Loch Lomond (Luss) for 3 nights, Glenmore for two nights, then up towards the top to visit my cousin in Laide (probably find a site nearby), then down again, over about 10 days. First 5/6 days are planned, the rest not - we're just into schools back at school and will be mid week, so depending on weather those last five days, camping (in van) or hotels.

Nothing for me this year but instead of a holiday I'm saving up for a nice new Ebike instead.
60 is quickly approaching and I'm finding the road bike is getting a little to uncomfortable nowadays to fully enjoy
