i have a big book of British Mammals which includes Wallabies - a few hundred of them descended from escapees fro Whipsnade I recall. Each animal is sumarised under various headings: size, weight etc, and "easily confused with" which says "the wallaby cannot conceivably be confused with any other creature" The book is British mammals remember
But have you tried eating them?
I said to her "I'm not mad but did I see a camel in the field over there the other day?"

Were they intentionally selling them, or was it another 'horse meat' scandal?Lidl was doing kangaroo steaks a little while ago but I missed them at the time.
There are at least two herds of these south of Birmingham. One is towards Alvechurch, you can see the other from the train to Banbury.
I've been told there are green parrots in one of my local parks but I've never seen them.

Do any of you folks have your own local wildlife oddities, or have seen anything strange like this?
There's some interesting fare there but I think I would draw the line at zebra. I don't think I'll be sending that link to my vegan pals.
