At the moment that is the solution im looking at - having ridden something like 2000km on tour last year in my bog standard sandals :smile:
How thick is the forefoot - I need a reasonable amount of padding there due to my foot being a bit "distorted"
Compared to the flimsy standard Mavic one, an awful lot!

Also watch where the ball of the foot sits over the axel. I'd set a pair of shoes slightly too forward and it caused hot spots. Rule of thumb is ball directly over axle.

Hello - I would like to resurrect this thread, if I may :smile:

How did you get on with the Bonts? I have started to suffer this affliction again lately, especially in my new Scott road shoes and my Mavic wide fit shoes are rather tatty, so keen to hear the latest from the esteemed panel.

They were about 5 pairs of shoes ago.......now using specialized shoes with blue inserts, its a lil better
