House plant recommendations

I'm thinking about buying a house plant for a window that doesn't get direct sunlight till around 4pm. I thought about an Aspidistra but according to this https://plantcaretoday.com/how-to-care-for-the-cast-iron-plant-aspidistra-elatior.html they prefer shade. I want a fairly big plant that can be seen quite well from outside the house. Any recommendations please?

Why not stick with pampas grass in the front garden like the rest?

I'm only joking about the pampas stuff. I know i said i want a plant that can be seen from outside,but i don't want something like that!

Tiger palm or weeping fig.. both get quite big, are easy to maintain, don't flower and look OK.

The weeping fig can be quite fussy about light and can drop many leaves if it's not getting enough. They will regrow though. Just leave it where it is and give it time to tune in to the conditions.

Peace Lilly (Spathiphyllum).
Ok in low light. Has nice glossy leaves and will flower if you look after it.

Japanese knotweed is always a good bet. Nice green leaves and doesn't need much tending.
