Summer solstice that is. For me, a 40 mile evening bike ride without the need for lights followed by a nice bath with the last of the day's sun still shinning through the bathroom window at 9:00pm - Perfect!

This and that not done Stonehenge or more usually Avebury since 2009  Watched the sun rise in the garden with the smallest person snuggled with me ^_^ and apparently scared the pants off one of my neighbours who then had to ask lots of questions but at least it meant she took eldest on school run with her so smallest & I snoozed

My wife has been very ill recently, she's diagnosed with costochondritis and Fribromyalgia, she's very pale and has been suffering post viral fatigue too so i've been wheeling her round in a chair.
yesterday we went out to town, went shopping and had a meal in nando's and had a jug of sangria, retired home to have more sangria and tv watchery and i have to say it was a good day.
she's looking better than she was but it was nice to get out on the solstace, it feels like a turning point for her illness.
