How do I get in touch with an admin to add a new forum title

Looking at all the forum titles there isn't one on Gravel Grinding (riding on gravel bikes) or even a forum dedicated to gravel bikes. I know it's a relatively new type of cycling but it is increasingly becoming very popular. So I am asking an admin if it could be possible if a forum would be added dedicated to this style of cycling?

Why marketeers keep inventing 'new' forms of cycle style just to sell more stuff and try to specialise it is annoying. My tourer regularly goes gravelling, road riding, off roading loaded and unloaded. Never been an issue. I don't even wear special clothes either.

What is the diff between cyclocross and gravel grinding? Serious question.

CX is on a smaller usually mixed or grass only surface and held over laps or a minimum time +1lap, tyres are restricted to 33mm.

Gravel grinding is usually very long laps and/or distances, predominantly held in many countries on unpaved roads with feed stations, support crews etc. Minimum tyre with is probably 38/40mm

*In many cases the actual bikes aren't overly different, a CX bike geometry would be somewhat more aggressive but still capable. This is my Ribble CX with 38mm Gravelking tyres, plenty of room for more ^_^

Cyclocross is cycling road style bikes on thinnish knobbly tyres in an offroad loop where each loop is around 1 or 2 miles which is ridden several times. All cyclocross is sport.

Gravel grinding is riding on bikes similar to road bikes but use thick knobbly tyres similar to mountain bike tyres. They are usually ridden in a loop of 10+ miles once or sometimes ridden in a A to B scenario. Gravel grinding can be ridden as a sport but is usually recreational.

Don't get me wrong, some of the gravel rides I have done in a group, some have ridden on cyclocross bikes but they can struggle on some terrains such as mud. How many cyclocross events have you seen when they are on muddy terrain where the participants are not caked in mud from head to toe. A gravel rider will get a bit muddy but not as much as a cyclocross participant

Where would the 3 Peaks Cyclo-Cross race fit in then at 38 miles.
Only the one lap, of a large circuit.

I ride a CX bike with 40mm tyres on tracks canals etc, not a lot of gravel involved, I am not sure which group I belong in, on second thoughts perhaps I am a cyclist as I also ride road and MTB.

I have been riding for the past 12 years on canal paths, single track and forestry fire roads. Initially on my mountain bike although more recently on a specifically named gravel bike. I used to do the same 60+ years ago as a kid on any old bike I could cobble together.
This is not a new type of cycling, just a new, more specific, name for a type of bike
