How do you freshen up white bar tape?

I was recommended baking soda. Didn't exactly do much but then again nor did anything else I tried.

How about vanish? Not tried it myself, but would if I had white tape!

I think part of the charm of having white bar tape is the way it fades a bit. What do you think.

Im sure i read that either WD40 or fairy liquid will make it white again, or near white.
Failing that, how about Daz? It makes your whites whiter then white.

Hot water soap or washing up liquid and scrubbing brush will bring you bar tape up like new.

I wouldn't have white bar tape, except my saddle's white. God knows why I wanted a white one, perhaps I thought it looked faster.

Mr Muscle kitchen cleaner works a treat on handlebar grime as it's mostly hand grease

It doesn't just look faster, it IS faster
Anyways, buy some Fizik Microtex bartape next time - stays white for ages!
