Morning wake-up coffee*, start-of-work coffee and mid-morning coffee is americano with a dash of cold milk. Yes, I like it like that, deal with it. Yes I can still taste the coffee. Shock horror I'm also partial to a double shot latte with lunch too and occasional flat white. I do like an espresso from time to time.
* Get out of bed, make the coffee, take it back to bed, drink it before even considering getting up!
At home I have a DeLonghi bean to cup machine. I'm still trying different beans and still to find "the one". Tried few different branded 1kg bags off amazon and a variety of single origin ones from local roasters. Currently I think the favourite has been Lavazza Espresso Cremoso but none have really floated my boat. I've been messing with the grind settings a bit but really too much of that starts to stray into the hobbyist mindset with those home barista machines. But I'm searching for the sweet spot of best coffee for least effort. I just want to hit a button and have it give me a coffee the way I like it. I have an aeropress and I like it. It usually goes with us on holiday, but it's just a little too much faff for day to day. I'm tempted to keep one in the office locker though, as the work drip machine is so-so and reliant on other folks filling it with exactly the right quantity of grounds.
