Yep. Anyone who thinks this is simple probably doesn't switch between shifter types very often. I mostly use a single twist-shift at the moment (not my favourite), but I've also a SA trigger (my favourite), a rapidfire and several friction shifters (best derailleur shifters IMO). The lack of tactile "which gear?" feedback on rapidfires and STIs sucks, as does the lack of standing shift on all derailleurs.
