How far have you cycled this year?

I can't recall what my total is but I think it was around 11,000km (6,000 miles) at the start of the month.

Just having a look at my logged miles, its 11,298km (7,020 miles)#

Oops I forgot to add in Spain

8,327 miles to date. My target for 2009 is 10,000 so I should do that in comfort.

I am happy to have managed eight 100k's and one 100 miler so far, esp coz I managed 17mph avg., on the 100 miler(good going for me). However, I have missed one of my targets, which was to do an organised cycling event, because I just can't persuade myself that I'm good enough for a club or anything like that - maybe next year! Problem is that I am intimidated by trying to cycle in groups so have been cycling solo for the last 3 years.

Sound like you're more than good enough for a club.

You need to have a bit of a rest, HLaB, don't want you to overdo it and exhaust yourself.

I suggest you have the rest of September off

Says the woman who is on 8,500 . Don't worry about cyclogs, I'm back to work tomorrow and my mileage will fall dramatically then.

I think I am the only one who has cycled fewer miles than the number of posts he has put on here.

In my defence I have had a couple of years to tot up the posts.
