My big day out on Saturday to meet mother and brother illustrates the dangers of going anywhere.
On the face of it, my virus transmission risk (vtr) score wasn't too bad.
I didn't speak to anyone on the way down, or the way back, or at the motorway service area where we met - so that would be a vtr of two, mummy and brother.
However, I did go into the service area foyer, had a brief wander around in there to weigh up how the restrictions were being applied, then back to the car.
I lost count of the number of people doing the same who passed me within vtr distance.
It wasn't dozens, but it was several.
Including two for mother and brother brings my total to close to double figures.
Given that an achievable best vtr score is zero, a score of 'close to double figures' is not very good at all.
