"he is a raving chocoholic" is a phase I've not heard before

Ladies are chocoholics. Men, and some women, are big fat greedy bloaters. Or, that annoying sort that can eat what they like and stay thing.

I am a lady...

Six Kit Kats in multipack are also one serving

Ah ha! The old Jaffa Cakes / Pringles defence - once you start you just can't stop!

This is why multipacks are evil. You get to convince yourself that the calories burned opening all those packets/wrappers must in some way compensate for the calories consumed eating everything at one go!

I usually eat a bar of Cadbury's Dairy Milk or Galaxy once a week - it's a bit of a treat and apart from that I don't eat sweeties or desserts very often.

I'm a bit of a philistine as I prefer the crappy stuff to the "real" quality Belgian chocolate.

Sometimes CDM is just what you need. I like the nice stuff, although I'm not all that keen on the very high cocoa content stuff. But there's a certain feel you get from a chunk of CDM that just sorts life out.

If anyone ever wanted to kill me, I suspect all they have to do is buy a tonne each of CDM and Red Leicester Cheese. Cube it all up (and perhaps put the cheese on cocktail sticks, with pineapple) and leave it in front of me. Alternating, I'd eat myself to death.

The occasional square of Lindte 90% cocoa - a bar lasts about 12 months

Too busy eating huge bags of crisps and loaves of toast & marmite

...... doesn't go with the red wine though

Another 'urban' (?) myth. Depends on the 'chocolate'. Proper choc, as opposed to the pap that is sold by cadbury and the like, goes extremely well with red wine. So much so, I have actually been to a chocolate/wine tasting! Heaven.

Am prepared to organise one to anyone interested.

Not a great chocolate eater, although everyone in the house is.

We have been enjoying Kraft's penetration pricing technique this year with their 'stack 'em high, sell 'em cheap' of the Milka brand of chocolate. It has made a refreshing change.
