How much did your first house cost?

The value dropped by over 10% in the following few years. We were in negative equity for a while.

It must have taken a while to get back up as i paid 70k in 97 for a 2 bed end of terrace in Hanworth ( The really posh bit )

£18000 for a 2 bed flat in 1990. Sold it for £24000 in 1998.
As an aside my folks first house cost them £900 back in the 1966, they currently sell for about £200000
