How much for a Orbit Crystal recumbent?

I spose those in the know will have seen it, how much should something like this be worth?

Im keen to get a recumbent to add to my collection bun dont want to spend too much

Some of the Crystal trikes were of variable build quality, I know of several which suffered frame failure, one of those twice in two different places.

To be honest many owners love their trikes and some have had no trouble at all, but there are a lot of better quality cheap trikes out there these days.

cheers, i didnt bid on it after all as I wasnt totally sure and read something similar about the frames.

Peter Ross Trice Frames were "allegedly" welded by 6th formers in a technology class of a Cromer School.

The Orbit frames were made by orbit and were of better quality.

What you need to remember is that they are very early models and lack some refinement, but at the time were state of the art machines.

Yep, anyone wanting a pre-Ice trike should always ask about repairs. I had 2 breakages , one on a weld and another to the frame itself. Luckily in both cases I was not bombing downhill. DTek have a whole range of machinery with expert advice.
