psst!

'Anything in the papers is also on the 'net'...

Very true, but I often read the papers in a coffee shop, on a train, down the pub etc. Plus the tactile nature and 'readability' is still better than on a screen in my opinion.

What disappoints me about the papers is the fact that it seems the story is more important than the truth in many cases!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't tend to bother with newspapers anymore. I tend to listen to the radio or check out the BBC News. Mr Plax buys the Daily Post (local rag) which I'll read. Also the other free local papers will pique my interest if they are available.
When I was at school they used to have the Daily Telegraph in the library which I used to read. I quite liked that paper. As an adult I used to regularly buy the Times, but I must say I've always found the Telegraph more to my taste, and that makes me feel dirty!
