How much should I sell my bike for?

Hi all fellow riders I need a bit of advice I'm think of selling my bike on gumtree but I don't now how much I should let it go for? I don't want to let it go for a cheap price so could someone please give me there honest opinion what they think the bike is worth? Thanks guys I will add the pics.

i think the usual rule of thumb is half the original price -£10 for each year of age. if you've upgraded bits, that might push the price up if they're recent additions…

Looking at the kit ( old but looks very well looked after and clean ) i'd say £200 - £250 but it depends to the bike price's in your area. Keep a look out for the some bike's with the same kit on ebay/gumtree and price match.

Look's a nice bike, good look with the sale :okay:

Well that's the original price and has the exact same specs as my bike what do you reckon?

Id keep it too, i have a old Trek 6500slr from 2006 just hung up in the garage, its not been used for around 3 year's but i wont sell it.

Using your formula, I have just reviewed my asking price for this, which cost £45 when new in 1976. It is now worth MINUS £367.50 :ohmy:. I might just keep it, rather than hand that sort of money to the new owner ^_^.
