I bet the WH Smith's at the Dover Ferry terminal charges about a fiver for one, if the price of everything else in that building is anything to go by.

The swearing coming out of the elderly well-to-do German ladies I was next to the other Sunday, apoplectic at the cost of a round of coffees, was something to behold. I'd only heard German language like that on "special interest" films before then.

Available for €1.50 in a shop near me. They even have the dark chocolate version

A Spar convenience shop with its much higher overheads and captive market will of course charge far more than a supermarket. Economics 1.01.

I know a man who can get you them for nothing if he likes you, they're slightly shop spoiled. If he really likes you, you get an undamaged one.

Have you also noticed that they're no longer solid slices, but are hollowed out on one side of each piece to keep them the same size & price, but a lower weight?
