How much to wire a brick shed/garage?

The armoured cable is already in to the fusebox and the garage so it's a fuse box, three lights and four or five sockets.

It's the kind of thing I'd like to do myself but with part p and wotnot, it's not worth the risk as I'd still have to pay an electrician to certify it.

We have a mini fuse box in a shed and the, ahem, previous owners, put in a couple of sockets, 2 external lights and some internal lights and I think whoever did it probably enjoyed wiring it up. All been fine the last 5, erm, I mean 8 years since it was done.

Do it yourself and pay an electricaliscialist to certify it. Cost me £60 when I did the summer house, and he pronounced it safe and good.
That's not bad. And he didn't have any issues with it or want you to make any changes?

Anyway, what price a spark? There are a couple of things I want doing I'm not sure about. £500 do you think?

Materials about £150-£200 after sparkies markup. If you want fluorescent or LED battens that will go up.
Days work assuming all surface mount. What's a day rate? I wouldn't do it for less than £200..

I was going to say £500 all in, my whole house only cost £3,000 mind you that was 10 years ago.
I think you're well out of date screeny.

I may approach my tame electrician to see if he'll be willing to pass my plans, inspect my work and then connect to the consumer unit and certify it, otherwise, after reading my house insurance policy, I won't be doing it ala Markymark's previous house owner ruse.

Not that far I did a house up last year and the sparkie supplied and fitted a lot of stuff for a bag of sand.
