i was watching a pair of specialized bg elite shoes on fleabay over weekend brand new - bids plus £7 postage

i looked them up on internet and best price i found them was £61 with free delivery - so i was pre-armed on how much to go up to to get a bargain . they went for £106 + pp
i was stunned

But brilliant for the seller! Sadly, that never happened to me the few times I tried selling stuff on fleabay.

and sometimes people get friends to bid to boost the price

If they get caught out and a friend wins it they simply cancel the transaction and all fees get reversed.

It's happened to me several times; some people are woefully ill-informed.

I've got eight small bike parts all finishing around 8 pm tomorrow, some have been sold since the first hour they were on Fleabay! Why bid so early? I always wait until 3 seconds before the auction ends, especially if I've got competition to win something.

Some people don t know how much things cost brand new !

Then again some sellers want brand new price for 3 rd hand gear .
