A rag with gt85 cleans the chain well. What do you do with the crap liquid in your ‘chain cleaner’ when finished?

Wipe with an old oily cloth after every ride plus the Mickle Method.

On a serious note:
Quick wipe after every wet ride. Full contraption clean in isopropyl alcohol once I hear grit when chain is bent sideways. It comes to 100-200 miles on tarmac, much more often on gravel.
I run used alcohol trough cotton cloth and reuse 4-5 times before I dump it once a year with engine oil in local recycling centre.
