Pretty regularly really.

It's generally a quick rinse and brush down though, I give them all a thick coat of wax every few months which makes them quick and easy to clean.

Yes, I'm a bit of a tart.......

Wheels etc get a quick rinse with the hose when it's been muddy and grimy, and in winter they all get a proper scrub once per month.

My best bike is renowned for always looking clean

Every week or two. At the moment you could safely eat your dinner off my bike as I've spent the weekend going over it with a fine toothcomb. The whole thing is like a shining beacon and tomorrow I expect motorists will be staring in amazement at such a wondorous vehicle. Even the tyres look brand new, although that's probably because they are.

About every six months, when I swap from summer bike to winter hack, and the 'off season' bike comes upstairs to the flat. Should happen sometime in the next week.

My bikes hang up in my workshop/gym so if I'm in there doing a workout I'll take a baby wipe to any bits of dirt on the road bikes between exercises, I can't help it. Consequently, my good bike has never once seen water from a cleaning session, it's always completely immaculate apart from when it's being ridden.
The MTB gets a wash if it looks dirty, usually immediately after the ride.
