I'm 37. Rather bizarrely on a boat cruise this autumn in Germany an American woman who had seen me speaking in German to the boat captain apparently commented to another passenger, "Isn't that English girl good, talking to the captain so confidently... for an eighteen year old". Yes, she really thought I was 18. What I was doing on a cruise to celebrate my 15th wedding anniversary at such a tender young age I don't know!
My fellow Uni students (I'm a mature student) seem to think I'm about 30. I think personally that I look about 37, but hey ho. Perhaps being a lifelong non-smoker and non-drinker has helped, but it's probably because I spend so much time in the outdoors on my bike or walking the dog that I look at bit less pasty and unhealthy than my peers who are stuck in offices all day shuffling paper.
