Inventor Yannick Read has unveiled a bicycle horn that's louder than Concorde.
The keen cyclist, 41, designed the world's most powerful cycle horn - The Hornster - after repeatedly getting cut-up by car and lorry drivers.
An 'Airchime KH3A' triple air horn [it was] from an American locomotive.
The horn runs off a scuba diving air cylinder and emits a staggering 178 decibels.
An F14 fighter jet, in comparison, is 130db while the deafening roar of Concorde landing is a mere 119db.
Far out. So you would deafen yourself and all those around you as well?
You would have to wear ear defenders which would look a bit naff and may be quite restrictive. Also you couldn't hear any other traffic around you. It could send you into rapid reverse if you pressed the trigger too hard for too long.

Yeah, there's always a downside. I guess its back to the good old AK47 then. I reckon you could mount one on the front of a delivery type bike, one with the small front wheel and heavy duty rack above it.
