I answered from a cyclist POV and was 29% calmer than the average participant. Then I tried answering from a truck drivers POV and was 2% angrier than the average! Some of the questions had less relevance, of course.

So do you think that they calculate the average and update it with each successive entry, or do you think that it's all meaningless cobblers and they invented an "average" response before undertaking it, and the actual entrants do not actually affect the average at all.

Hi everyone, first of all I want to say thanks for visiting and sharing the Cycle Rage Gauge we really appreciate it. Secondly, I just wanted to put your minds at ease and let you know that we are not planning to use this data in any kind of us vs. them scenario! The idea for the Cycle Rage Gauge came from a previous piece of content we created called the Road Rage Gauge. For that we used some survey data to determine things that annoyed motorists on the road and cyclists (sorry guys) came at number 7. We saw some backlash from a few cyclists on Twitter and thought we'd create a corresponding tool for our friends on two wheels to show that it goes both ways.
