Well after recent talk and advice from you guys, I was umming and ahhing about buying a ss/fixed or building one because I couldnt justify splashing 400 notes, yadda yadda yadda. Anyway the taxman decided to give me a 400 quid rebate the same week my LBS happened to get a Charge Plug in stock that fitted me perfectly..so it was kinda destiny really.
Picked it up today, initially I thought the 16t would be too tough for me but I've been flying around on it all day, actually going faster up my local hills than i go on my geared bike, and I LOVE it!
Am still running it with the freewheel at the moment while I get used to it and get some SPD pedals for it, but it truly is a joy and its a lovely looking bike.
Will be down at the Freewheel tomorrow showing it off :-)
