I knew they use the seat post to clamp the bikes to the stand.
So why, after weeks of getting my seat just right, did I forget to mark the post??

Why did they have to move it in the first place, or was it in too low to clamp it.........why didn't they turn the clamp 90 degrees and clamp the top tube...........not your fault at all SL the mechanic is at fault

I meant to say to him when I dropped it off not to move the seat post. It took me a few weeks to get it spot on!
It's not like it was having much done...the gears were tweaked and cables tightened.
Oh well...

Seat post is best so that the clamp doesn't foul the cables.

Line it up with your hip and start from there. It shouldn't be too far off.

I think it's almost where I had it. I rode it the 5 miles home and stopped once to adjust it. It does feel tipped forward so I'll have to double check that.
