I knew Priscilla was going for a service.
I knew they use the seat post to clamp the bikes to the stand.
So why, after weeks of getting my seat just right, did I forget to mark the post??

My LBS takes the seat post out and regreases it as apart of a full service. But then they put a little bit of tape round before they start.

This was just a free 6 week check.

I meant to say to him when I dropped it off not to move the seat post. It took me a few weeks to get it spot on!
It's not like it was having much done...the gears were tweaked and cables tightened.
Oh well...

Once you've got it to a good set up again, take a measurement. That way, should it happen again you can adjust it back to your liking. Place a book on the saddle and measure from the middle of the saddle to the middle of the crank.

Mine put a piece of tape around the seat post before they do anything.
