To go all serious for a moment.....[serious] I have polyps. Sinus infections, odd smells, losing my sense of taste and smell for periods, are all part of it. I have seen a consultant about it......[ /serious].........petrol is new though.

A few years ago I had the self same thing so I booked an emergency appointment and went and told the dr.
He said it's quite common, gave me some pills and said,
"Deisel help"

I used to love the smell of petrol, then they changed it. It doesn't smell the same now......

I agree wholeheartedly with this. I used to love the smell of petrol when I was a kid and as you say its just not the same anymore.

I asked 'how does that work then ?'
He told me..'i hold up the clothes to the girls and say..'diesel fitter'.
