2) Daily Mail articles saying we are adopting EU time
It would be hilarious to deliberately get rid of something so iconic and so inextricably linked to the idea of empire and of Britannia ruling the waves, in order to become closer to Europe, just to piss off the right wing tabloids.Yes, whenever I hear "double BST"... call it Central European Summer Time and help people face facts that we are unavoidably European and not merely British (or Greenwich Mints?).
Something i wouldn't have done when living with Mrs Accy. All i have to do now is change the time on my wall clock. The action of taking it off the wall and moving the fingers takes some doing,so i'm putting it off till i can muster up the enthusiasm.
