Looks like a slightly different model. Mine doesn't have a knife blade or detachable allen keys

And it's a little pricier. But a pretty good addition to carry in the saddle bag.

For example last week's four buffoons coming out of the village heads down and going for it. Two abreast, no lights, all dressed in black, riding into the low sun on a wet and very shiny road. What could possibly go wrong?
A black or dark grey car, without its lights switched on DLR, driving into a low sun. At least it wasn't (shock horror) driving two abreast. Or a dangerous pedestrian, dressed in black, hooded, gawping at phone, oblivious to the world, walking the (!) road.
I took out the cover solely for the “get you home” aspect.
I too have paid for the ETA cover for a few years (?£18) but never called. You do realise the cover isn't actually 'get you home'.
I do like you.
Though, I believe @winjim's attitude is the right one.
I do like you too, @Pat"5mph" - thank you for your moderating efforts.
I think the riskiest and most dangerous thing I could ever do is cycle 500m from the house without a repair kit.
Is this OCD? 😁
No, it's OTT: a complete failure of rational thought; or trolling. If riding into or around town or within, say, a couple of miles of home base, carrying a repair kit is mitigating a low risk: the likelihood is low and the hazard is low impact.

Were lucky this side of the Atlantic that we don't have these. Or at least if we do they are rare exotics.

Just googled them. They look like little organic caltrops, ouch!
Just regular thorns here, or the carpet of broken glass which seems to grow spontaneously on cycle paths round here

At Ewood Park on Tuesday night, under floodlights, the match officials wore black and the linesman on the far side carried the yellow flag. At one point I was looking to see if he'd given offside and realised I couldn't see him.

I paid a bit more attention to this during the second half. I knew where the official should be, I knew he had a yellow flag but 50% of the time I couldn't pick him out from the background of the stand and fans.

The linesman was no more than 90 yards away, probably 85. I'm not sure what, if anything, this says but it really made me think about colour choices for cyclists.

I have read the terms and conditions and my understanding is that if I suffer a mechanical breakdown I phone them and they send out a suitable vehicle to transport myself and bike to my home.
Note: I paid for solely the recovery service cover which is more comprehensive than the “recovery” that is Included as part of a package for theft insurance, personal injury etc.
If you suspect I run the risk of not getting the get me home recovery service I’d be grateful if you’d provide me with a bit more info, thanks.
